About Pathways Counseling Service

I established Pathways Counseling Service in Salem after building a solid foundation in several different schools of Psychology. Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated with the brain. The intricacies and nuances of neural pathways and synapses, and how they network to trigger physiological responses are astounding. The mind and body are truly in sync and affect human interaction in very subtle, unconscious ways. The power of the mind to influence our motivations and emotions is staggering. The adage mind over matter comes to mind, albeit many naysayers dismiss psychology and therapy as a pseudoscience. Contrary to such a belief, it has been proven how strongly connected the mind-body relationship is. This being the case, if you are afflicted by a mental disorder or seek counseling to resolve a personal quandary, then you’ve come to the right place.

At Pathways Counseling Service, I provide several different psychological services in Salem, including treating chronic depression and anxiety, bi-polar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, SAD, GAD, hypochondria, eye movement reprocessing, binge eating, anorexia, bulimia, and various phobias. I also offer numerous counseling services for my Salem clients, including nutritional, adolescent, individual, group, divorce, couples, stress, anger management, sexual abuse, women’s, and therapy. Moreover, I provide aptitude testing and diagnostic evaluations to identify learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADD, and dyscalculia.

Please contact Pathways Counseling Service today to learn more about the counseling services I provide in Salem. The brain is a highly malleable organ that can eliminate maladaptive thinking patterns with ongoing cognitive behavioral therapy, Pavlovian conditioning or by uncovering and confronting unconscious neuroses. There is always hope. Always.
